I honestly still can’t believe it.
I was standing in my bathroom on a random morning and something in me felt different. I had taken pregnancy tests the past 3 days all which were negative, but that morning felt different. I took another test. My brain told me not to expect anything different. Not to get my hopes up, but my heart was fluttering. I was shaking, couldn’t catch my breath, and my heart just knew.
I flipped the test over and it was positive.
If you’ve been following along for awhile, you know I conceived my daughter through IVF, after years of trying for a baby.
Then once she turned 1, we decided to go back to our IVF clinic for another transfer. After canceled cycles due to lining issues, a couple of cycles later we finally go the go ahead to schedule an embryo transfer.
On Oct 16 2023, I had my embryo transfer. I found out 9 days later that we were pregnant, and 2 days after that I found out I was having a miscarriage. My heart was broken. I am still heartbroken, and I will forever think of that little life, who I miss every day.
For the month of November I decided I was going to take my health into my own hands. I saw a naturopathic doctor, who I wanted to treat my PCOS, and give me some answers about my unexplained infertility.
